Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
The American Cancer Society's non-competitive walks, held mostly in October in hundreds of communities. There's no registration fee, and you can walk alone, with friends, or with a team. Money raised supports research, free rides to treatment, lodging, and the ACS 24/7 helpline. Survivors and caregivers are celebrated at every event.
Susan G. Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk
Community walks in cities across the U.S., plus a virtual option you can join from anywhere. Walk on your own or with a team to honor someone you love. Funds raised support breast cancer research, patient navigation, financial help, and education. Survivors and people living with metastatic breast cancer are recognized at each walk.
Susan G. Komen 3-Day
A 60-mile walk over three days, with camping or hotel stays, meals, and medical support along the route. Each walker commits to a fundraising goal, and coaches help you train in the months before. Money raised goes to Komen's research and community programs.
Avon / Breast Cancer Research Foundation events
Avon has long supported breast cancer causes through walks and fundraising. Today you can join races, galas, and events supporting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), or start your own fundraiser. BCRF funds scientists around the world working on prevention, treatment, and metastatic breast cancer.
